HUMANA People to People Slovakia s.r.o. is a company linked to the international Humana People to People network. The purpose of company management is to generate profit and support development activities in countries where necessary.
The beginning of this “project” in 2005 inspired the need to find new ways to create useful resources. There is still much to be done in the world for health, education and environmental issues, and more money is needed to launch more projects.
Re-use of resources (recycling) is necessary to preserve the environment and the world.
Currently, activities in Slovakia are based on the sorting operation of secondhand clothing located in Martin and in twenty-four secondhand stores extended in Žilina, Martin, Trenčín, Banská Bystrica, Zvolen, Nitra, Prievidza, Liptovský Mikuláš, Čadca, Ružomberok, Žiar nad Hronom, Dolný Kubín , Námestovo, Topoľčany, Považská Bystrica, Bánovce nad Bebravou, Púchov, Piešťany and Lučenec. The logo on our stores is: “Humana People to People”.
Another result of activities in Slovakia is also the fact that many information on development work are available and handed over to people in shops.
Many jobs have been created in Slovakia and thousands of customers have the ability to buy good-quality clothing at low prices in modern Humana stores every week.
